TOMBALL – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office was investigating after a driver hit and killed a woman near Tomball.
In a post on X, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the woman was hit on Cypress Rosehill Road and Juergen Road at about 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

Gonzalez said the driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The details of the accident were unknown.
Southbound lanes were closed during the investigation but have since reopened.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
