HOUSTON – One person was killed, and another was injured in a shooting in Southwest Houston.
Houston police responded to a shooting on Richmond Avenue near Fountain View Drive at about 5 a.m. Sunday.

Police were also investigating at a second scene where a body was found on Fairdale Lane near Greenridge Drive. The body was next to a car that had at least one bullet hole in it.
HPD confirmed the two scenes were related.
