Pasadena police searching for gunman linked to deadly drive-by shooting

PASADENA, Texas – Authorities in Pasadena are looking for any information to help them find a killer linked to a drive-by shooting over the weekend.

It happened in the early Saturday morning hours just before 3:45 a.m. when the Pasadena PD got a call about a man shot in the chest over in the 600 block of Burke Road between Sam Houston Tollway and Highway 225.

When officers arrived, they found Martin Escareno, 34, and rushed him to HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast where he died during surgery. At last check, officers were canvassing the area for any leads or witnesses but did not share any descriptive details on the shooter or the car used in the drive-by.
