HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says human remains were found inside a burned vehicle which had been towed to an auto storage lot in the Spring area Tuesday.

Authorities were called at approximately 9:42 a.m., according to the sheriff’s office.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said deputies responded to the lot at 20603 Rhodes Road and learned the burned vehicle had been towed to the location.

Skeletal remains believed to be that of a human were found inside the vehicle.
Gonzalez said the vehicle has since been towed to the sheriff’s office storage facility for further processing and investigation.
