According to letters to parents, obtained by KPRC 2′s Rilwan Balogun, the incidents happened on two separate occasions with different students but were a day apart.

In the first letter, dated Wednesday, October 2 a student at McGown Elementary was hit by a moving car while walking to school a little after 8 a.m. Cy-Fair ISD said its police department, including local law enforcement, campus administrators — as well as the student’s parents — rushed in to help and the child was taken to a hospital “as a precautionary measure.”

The next day, parents at Smith Middle School received a letter saying a student was hit by a moving car a little before 7:30 a.m. while they were riding their bicycle to school. The student was also rushed to a hospital for precaution and the child’s parent was notified.
