Houston firefighters were hard at work last night to help rescue a curious cat who got trapped in a storm drain.
The Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association said a man near South Gessner and Westheimer roads called Station 16 and said he hadn’t seen his cat.

Wanting to help, firefighters headed to his home and discovered the feline was in the drain in a parking lot.
They were able to snag the cat by the collar and rescue it.
The pet is recovering and the man is set to visit the station this week to say thank you.
