HOUSTON – A man was hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting in Southwest Houston.
Police said a man and his friend were sitting in a parked car on Windswept Lane at about 12:20 a.m. Saturday, when a driver in a truck backed into the man’s car.

The pair got out of the car to confront the driver, before an argument.

HPD said the driver of the truck pulled out a gun and shot the victim four times in the back.
“Other people helped out and ended up wrestling the suspect and got the gun away and when that happened the suspect took off and left,” said Lt. Willkens.
No arrests had been made.
