HOUSTON – Police are searching for a group of people who shot two men in a drive-by shooting in southwest Houston.
Police said two men went to buy beer at 1 a.m. Saturday.

They were walking back to their apartment on Club Creek Drive and Country Creek Drive when police said a car with several people in it pulled up next to them.

“They screamed at them, ‘Hey, we run the show around here,’ and started shooting at them,” said Lt. Willkens.
The group got away.
A man, 18, was shot in the hand and leg and a man, 28, was shot twice in the torso.
Police said the two men were taken to the hospital and expected to recover.
The shooting may be gang related.
