Southwest Houston – According to Houston Police a man died after he was struck by a driver in Southwest Houston.
Houston Police said a woman in an SUV is accused of hitting a killing a man near Almeda Road and Almeda Plaza around 2 a.m. on Sunday.

Police said the man died at the scene.
Investigators said they are working to determine if alcohol played a factor in the crash. Police said the driver stayed at the scene. At this time, investigators said no charges have been filed.
