And as you know, it may be Fall, but it feels more like Summer.

In fact, Austin and Waco broke records with temperatures in the triple digits!

Houston and Dallas came close, and today in Houston - we have the chance to break another one too!

Today’s expected high is 96 which would break the record in 2015 of 92!

So what are the average temperatures for October?

  • Average high: 78-87
  • Average low: 56-66
  • Hottest day: October 1, 1900 = 99
  • Coolest day: October 31, 1993 = 29

And did you know?!

We’ve always had at least one morning below 54 since 1964?

Thankfully, temperatures will be more “Fall-like” later this week, but not today!
