PASADENA – A Sam Rayburn High School student has been arrested after allegedly making violent threats to harm students and staff, including plans to use a shotgun and rocket launcher, according to authorities.
17-year-old Alexander Mariano Santiago was charged after threatening to commit aggravated assault and arson at the school on Oct. 16.

According to court documents, Santiago allegedly threatened to return to the school with a shotgun and use a rocket launcher to target the campus.
Santiago now faces charges of making terroristic threats, a felony offense.
