Details are limited as it’s an active investigation, but officers with the Houston Police Department were called around 2 a.m. to Clearwood and Hollock off Gulf Fwy a little before 2:30 a.m.

That’s where they found a car on fire after crashing into a tree. The unidentified driver was the car’s sole occupant and was found dead in the fiery crashed-out car.
