Frontage road along Southwest Freeway at Fondren Road closed due to 2-vehicle crash

HOUSTON – A two-vehicle crash has shut down the frontage road along the Southwest Freeway at Fondren Road.

The crash was reported at 1:10 p.m. at 7529 Southwest Fwy and 7401 Fondren Rd.

The accident involved a white pick up truck and a grey Mustang.

One person was seriously injured in the crash.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.

Crews are working to clear the scene and drivers are being asked to take an alternative route.
