HOUSTON – Authorities are piecing together what led up to a man’s death after his body was found late Monday evening in an apartment in southwest Houston.

Houston police said they were called to a complex on N Braeswood Boulevard near Brays Bayou. That’s where an unidentified man, believed to be in his 70s, was found dead in the apartment with obvious signs of a struggle and visible injuries.

Police are unsure what happened to the man, but homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
