The coldest Halloween on record for Houston occurred in 1993, when the temperature reached a frigid 29 degrees. Compare that to the warmest Halloweens on record when we hit 88 degrees. We have hit 88 on Halloween four times: 2004, 1977, 1972, and 1919.
October is the second wettest month in Houston, so it’s no surprise we often see rainfall around the holiday. The wettest Halloween on record occurred in 2015, when Houston saw a whopping 5.14 inches of rain.

Houston Halloween this year:
This year we will not be setting any records on Halloween. Our forecast high is in the lower-80s with a low temperature in the lower-70s. There is a chance for rainfall, so make sure if your outfit is a little long you wear lifts or hem it in case we have muddy streets. We do not expect any flooding rainfall, so it won’t go down as the wettest.
