First responders responded to the scene, and the left shoulder lane, left lane and center lane were closed.

Firetrucks and police cruisers blocked off the halted lanes, and multiple people could be seen standing around the impaired truck.

According to a source with Houston Police Department, gasoline spilled on the road, and specialized vehicles and officials in hazmat suits were brought out to pour sand on the impacted areas.

The lanes have since been reopened.
