MANVEL, Texas – The City of Manvel is setting the record straight against some false text messages that have been making rounds to its residents Tuesday.

City officials called the text messages some residents are receiving claiming to be from Manvel City Hall “fraudulent.” They added that they are not conducting this year’s election and claimed Brazoria County has not reported voting machines malfunctioning.
