3 Texas cities, including Houston, make top 15 best places to go for Thanksgiving

HOUSTONThanksgiving is right around the corner and in case you’re looking to travel for the holidays, you might want to consider a staycation.

That’s because a recent study by WalletHub ranked three Texas cities, including Houston, among the top 15 best places to go for Thanksgiving.

Researchers looked at 100 of the biggest cities ranging from dozens of factors including Thanksgiving dinner costs, share of delayed flights, and volunteer opportunities.

Their findings might be a little disappointing for Houstonians, as our city was ranked 15th best compared to Dallas and San Antonio, which were ranked 5th and 7th best, respectively.

San Diego, meanwhile, was ranked the very best place to go for Thanksgiving, while Stockton, California was named the worst.
