Both suspects now face felony charges, including theft of mail, unlawful use of a criminal instrument, and fraudulent possession of identifying information.
One charge filed against Martinez and Manley specifically alleges intent to defraud or harm elderly victims, as some of the stolen identifying information belonged to older adults.
Investigators emphasize the potential scale of this theft, as documents show recovered identifying information, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and government-issued IDs.
The pair are currently held in Harris County Jail. Martinez’s initial court appearance is set for November 12, with Manley’s next appearance scheduled for November 19.
