Inappropriate conduct investigations underway at three Fort Bend Elementary Schools

Fort Bend ISD parents are expressing concerns over a series of staff removals for alleged inappropriate conduct at three elementary schools within the district.

According to parents, administrative staff at Colony Bend, Goodman, and Quail Valley Elementary Schools have been placed on administrative leave within the past week due to ongoing investigations into alleged misconduct.

Parents from the affected schools have received notification emails, yet many feel the district has not provided sufficient communication with the broader community.

In a statement, Fort Bend ISD acknowledged the inquiries but maintained that confidentiality restricts the details they can share while investigations are active.

“Allegations of inappropriate conduct by a Quail Valley Elementary School staff member were immediately investigated by the district, and the staff member was placed on administrative leave. The staff member has since resigned from Fort Bend ISD,” the statement reads. “Allegations of inappropriate conduct by staff members at Colony Bend and Goodman elementary schools continue to be thoroughly investigated by the district; further information cannot be shared at this time.”

Parents voiced concerns about a lack of communication beyond the form letters sent to specific schools, with one parent expressing that “communication from administration to stakeholders needs work: more often and perhaps on a more regular basis.” They added that repeated instances within a short timespan suggest a need for district-wide transparency.

KPRC 2’s Corley Peel spoke with parent who said having more details is important so they can warn their children of potential danger.

"In case our children are afraid to talk to us about something that happened, we can talk to them about it and let them know it’s okay to come to us but the school didn’t really give a whole lot of information," said Valle.

In an email sent to parents, the district said the following:

The safety of our students is our highest priority. Our district takes every allegation seriously. If any student, staff, or parent has concerns or information regarding inappropriate conduct, please contact FBISD Police at 281-634-5500 or to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222- TIPS.
