Southwest Airlines flight hit by gunfire in Dallas

Dallas, Texas – According to a Southwest Airlines spokesperson, Southwest Airlines Flight 2494 at Dallas Love Field Airport was reportedly struck by gunfire on the right side of the aircraft while the crew was preparing for takeoff on Friday night.

The flight was headed to Indianapolis.

No injuries were reported, according to Southwest.

The statement goes on to say that law enforcement was notified, and the plane was removed from service.
