HOUSTON – Houston police are looking for the person they say shot a driver in north Houston.

Investigators said the man was on Aldine Bender Road near Airline Drive at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

They said another driver pulled up next to him and someone inside started shooting.

The victim was hit in the torso and crashed into a fence in an AutoZone parking lot and called 911.

He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Police did not release a description of the shooter’s car.
