HOUSTON – Harris County Precinct 5 deputies gathered at the crash site where fellow deputy constable Katherine Hutson and her daughter, Kacey, were killed Friday morning the Katy Freeway.
The three-vehicle crash, which happened around 3:20 a.m., in the 6500 block of the Katy Freeway Westbound, left one of the vehicles fully engulfed in flames when first responders arrived.
Hutson and Kacey were pronounced dead at the scene.
In the hours that followed, fellow deputies gathered to honor their fallen colleague and her daughter.
