Nearly 15 years later, the mystery of a man found dead on Rusk St. in Houston remains unsolved. Investigators are still searching for his identity and answers about his death.
In January 2009, the body of an unidentified Hispanic man was discovered lying in the road at 6500 Rusk St. in Houston.

BACKGROUND: Investigators try to identify victims of unsolved killings
The man, believed to be between 20 and 36 years old, was about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighed 166 pounds.
He had brown or black short, straight hair, brown eyes, a faint mustache, and manicured eyebrows.
A distinctive mole on his left cheek is another identifying feature investigators hope will lead to answers.
On the night of his death, the man was last seen leaving the El Cassanova Bar at 7036 Harrisburg Blvd.
When his body was found, he was wearing a blue Paco Jeans short-sleeved shirt with orange and white horizontal stripes, Old Navy blue jeans (size 33x34), and orange-and-gray North Face Gore-Tex athletic shoes (size 9.5). He also wore a black plastic Casio watch.
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has dental records, fingerprints, and DNA available for comparison, but his identity remains a mystery.
