HOUSTON, Texas – The Houston Police Department is searching for a man they believe is responsible for at least 15 robberies around the Houston area since October.
The man, who is only described as being thinly built and wearing a black ball cap and pants in some of his photos, is accused of robbing a fast-food restaurant on Oct. 27.

Officers said the unknown suspect entered the restaurant located in the 5500 block of Bellaire around 12:30 p.m. and pretended to be a customer placing an order. When the cashier opened the register, officers said the man reached over the counter and forcibly grabbed money from the cash register. Police said he then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Now, they believe the same man is responsible for several other robberies reported in the area since Oct. 15.
Officers say because the robberies have all happened in the same area, they believe the man may live nearby.
