HOUSTON – It is still warm by November standards in Houston, hardly what you would call Thanksgiving weather.
The warm temperatures will be around for a few days before two cold fronts move through, the first Monday night and into Tuesday and a second, stronger front on Thanksgiving morning.

Thanks to that second front, Thanksgiving will actually feel like Thanksgiving in the temperature department in Houston.
Next three days
Monday stays warm with highs in the mid-80s. Our first cold front will roll through on Tuesday, knocking high temperatures down into the low 70s. However, the temperature drop will be short lived as we rebound back into the 80s on Wednesday.
The good news for those who like cooler temperatures is that our second, stronger front, will be moving through Southeast Texas early Thanksgiving morning.
Thanksgiving and Black Friday
By early morning on Thanksgiving, the front should be coming through parts of Southeast Texas. There is a slight chance of showers early in the day, but most of the area should stay dry.
The front moving through means our temperatures won’t make it out of the 60s on Thanksgiving and unlike the front earlier in the week, it looks like our high temperatures will remain in the 60s for several days. In fact, the 10-day forecast shows high temperatures dropping even more, into the upper 50s by next Monday.
On Black Friday, high temperatures will be in the lower 60s, a few degree drop from a high of 68 for Houston on Thanksgiving as more cool air moves in behind the front.
Low temperatures will drop into the 40s behind Thanksgiving Day’s front. Expect them to stay in the 40s to near 50 into the middle of next week.
