‘Operation Turkey Dinner’ brings Thanksgiving joy to Houston families in need

Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office is once again giving back to families in need this Thanksgiving through the annual “Operation Turkey Dinner” program.

Today at 10 a.m., constable deputies will load their patrol vehicles with fully cooked Thanksgiving dinners to deliver to families across the Houston area experiencing difficult times.

The dinners, designed to feed six to eight people, include an oven-roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, old-fashioned stuffing, turkey gravy, dinner rolls, cranberry sauce, a pumpkin pie, and a 2-liter soft drink.

“This year, we were honored to partner with local Commissioners, State Representatives, and Judges. Precinct 4 is proud to assist our community, which shows us an abundance of support,” said Constable Mark Herman.

The program, coordinated by the Domestic Violence Division and Victims Assistance Unit, aims to promote community outreach during the Thanksgiving season.
