People pulled to safety after car ends up in hotel swimming pool on Houston’s west side

HOUSTON – A vehicle ended up in a hotel swimming pool on Houston’s west side Wednesday.

The incident happened at the Hilton Garden Inn at 12245 Katy Freeway in Houston’s Energy Corridor. This is near Dairy Ashford Road.

Sky 2 chopper flew overhead and captured images of the vehicle inside the pool and officers investigating the scene.

Houston Police said there were people inside the vehicle when it plunged into the pool. They were all pulled out safely before first responder arrived.

While details as to how the incident happened are unclear at this time, images from the scene do show damage to metal fencing surrounding the pool.
