HOUSTON – A $250,000 bond was set for a man accused of beating his wife to death inside a motel on the northside, according to Houston police who say after that, he called them.
Myron Lynn Strambler, 36, has been charged with murder for the death of Alicia Strambler on Nov. 27.

Police said it happened at the Moonlight Inn in the 5200 block of Airline Drive just after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
When officers showed up at the motel, they say the man was standing on a balcony with blood on his shirt.
According to court docs, the suspect fatally struck Alicia’s head into a wall with his fist and with an unknown object.
When officers went inside the motel room, they found her body.
Myron was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail.
Documents also show that he was convicted of felony offense of sexual assault of a child in 2009.
