HOUSTON – Ordinarily, after Halloween, most people gloss over Thanksgiving because they’re already looking forward to Christmas. However, a recent study claims most people in Texas aren’t as excited about the holidays compared to other states.

Researchers at BetMGM Casino said they created a study evaluating search trends of 30 Christmas keywords across the country to find out which states were most excited about Christmas.

The study was conducted between November 1 and November 20, by looking at Google Trend searches ranging from “Christmas trees,” “decorations,” and “movies,” to name a few.

Their findings led them to rank Texas 46th most excited, between Massachusetts and Colorado.

Kansas, meanwhile (and for some reason) was named most excited about Christmas, while Pennsylvania was ranked the very least.
