Police track blood trail after man shot and killed in west Houston

Houston police are investigating after a man was found shot to death Saturday morning in west Houston.

It started around 8:45 a.m. when a caller reported seeing a man lying in the street on Westmont Drive,

OTHER CRIME: Man arrested, charged in deadly West Houston stabbing of his sister and niece

Police say when they got there, they found the man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene

Investigators followed a trail of blood down the road, which led them to where several shell casings were found.

Police haven’t said who the man is or what may have led up to the shooting.
