The night of Nov. 30 was years in the making for fans of Texas and Texas A&M football, as the Lone Star Showdown returned for the first time since the 2011 college football season.

While many within the Aggie faithful would like to forget the events on the field Saturday night, the Texas A&M University Police Department made sure to document the chaos in the stands of Kyle Field for the world to see.

The Texas A&M Police account on X [@TAMUPolice] has something of a cult following on the site, as the department is known for reporting arrests and ejections that happen among the 102,000+ seats in the stadium as the Aggies play on Saturdays. With the game against Texas being A&M’s biggest game in years, the calamity from fans did not disappoint.

As you might expect, there was a bunch of standard ejections handed to intoxicated and/or overly passionate fans, but there were also some more unique reports from the A&M police.

Here are a few of my favorites:

‘Where can I park this?’

Leading up to the game, police reported an incident that they called a “University Rules Violation,” when a man riding a horse and another man riding a longhorn with his dog were found on campus.

The men agreed to leave with their unconventional methods of transportation, and it doesn’t appear that the situation escalated any further.

Thankfully (for us, anyway), someone in the area was able to record a video of the duo for our viewing pleasure. The video was first posted to TikTok by user @sillysandra.

So close!

A short while after the game started, another fan was ejected after presenting a fake ticket at one of the stadium’s entrances. That’s probably not too uncommon at football games—especially after seeing the insane ticket prices reported for this particular game (some fans allegedly spent more than a thousand dollars on a single ticket).

For this person’s sake, I just hope that they personally created the ill-fated counterfeit ticket and didn’t get scammed into thinking they were buying a legitimate seat. In that scenario, at least the person deserved the ejection.

A plan so crazy, it just might work!

As I mentioned before, the tickets for this game were ridiculously expensive. People went to some pretty extreme lengths to see A&M and UT take the field in-person, but no plan was wilder than this one.

Two men wearing fake gear and credentials attempted to enter the stadium disguised as construction workers.

These two definitely deserved to be arrested for this stunt, but I have to tip my cap to them for creativity. I don’t know how large of a penalty a criminal trespass charge carries in this case, but I hope having this story to tell is worth it in the end to these troublemakers.

Released to the wife

This next post might look like your standard intoxicated fan ejection, but the next little tidbit really paints a funny picture in your head.

This guy’s wife deserves a ton of credit for keeping herself together and making sure her husband didn’t find himself in a drunk tank. Even so, I can’t imagine that the “sober wife” was a particularly happy camper in this situation. He dodged a bullet from a legal standpoint, but he might still find himself sentenced to a week sleeping on the couch when he gets back home!
