Man dies after falling from parking garage in Downtown Houston

A man has died after falling from a parking garage in Downtown Houston Sunday night.

The incident was first reported on Facebook by Grizzy’s Hood News in an interview with J.P. Horelica, a Houston Police Department lieutenant.

A call came in reporting the fall to HPD at around 7:40 p.m. Sunday night. A person reportedly fell from the 10th story of a parking garage on the corner of San Jacinto St. and Walker St.

Officials with Houston Fire Department pronounced the man dead at the scene.

HPD couldn’t provide any further information. The man’s identity is unclear, and authorities are working to determine whether or not the victim fell or jumped intentionally.
