SUGAR LAND, Texas – Several shots were fired at a HEB in Sugar Land after an armored truck was robbed, according to the Sugar Land Police Department.
The armored truck was parked at the HEB, located on University and Highway 6, around 12:10 p.m. when a man reached into the vehicle, stole money and fled, police said.

As the suspect attempted to flee, the security guard fired at least two shots, striking the front part of the vehicle.
“The security guard at that time opened fire, shooting at least two shots to the suspect’s vehicle as they made off made out, made away into Sugar Land,” said Alicia Alaniz, public information officer at Sugar Land Police Department.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect’s vehicle was found and a search for two male suspects is underway.
The store is still open as police secured the scene and investigated the area.
