Crime Stoppers of Houston and the Houston Police Department are asking for the public’s help to find whoever shot and killed a man while he was driving his box truck on the Gulf Freeway.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest or charges in the case.

Late-night shooting leads to fatal crash
The shooting happened on November 2 at about 10:30 p.m.
Robert Schorovsky, 38, was driving near the 7200 block of the Gulf Freeway when someone shot him. He lost control of his large commercial truck, hitting several vehicles.

Schorovsky was rushed to a hospital in critical condition but died from his injuries two days later.
At the time of the shooting, Schorovsky was driving home from his job as a team lead for “Bright Lights,” the company that creates the NASA Johnson Space Center’s “Galaxy Lights” holiday display.
A devoted father and husband
Schorovsky leaves behind three children—ages 14, 11, and 9—and a grieving wife, Brittany. Known for his devotion to his family, Schorovsky was a hands-on dad who never missed a field trip or soccer practice.
Community’s help needed
Police are investigating whether this was a road rage incident or a random act of violence. They believe someone may have witnessed what happened.
