HOUSTON – Police are looking into what led up to a teenager’s death outside a Christmas party in southwest Houston.

It happened around 10 p.m. when officials with the Houston Police Department said firefighters were initially called to a medical emergency at an apartment on Burdine Street off N Braeswood Boulevard in the Meyerland area. Paramedics found an unidentified teenage boy, 15, with a gunshot wound to the head and called HPD.
Sgt. Ali said officials do not have much evidence as to how the teenager was shot, as of this writing. From what they learned, the teen doesn’t live on the premises but was at the Christmas party and stepped outside but didn’t return.
