Although the Houston Texans did not deliver such a grand performance, ending the game with just two points to the Ravens 31 points, Beyonce saved the day for Houston.
Alongside the 32-Grammy award-winning singer during her halftime performance, which was a mixture of country music, Houston and Historically Black College and university culture, was Texas Southern University band “The Ocean of Soul.”

As she’s done in several of her live performances, similar to when she brought The Grambling State University during her Coachella performance, Beyoncé regularly celebrates HBCUs and their culture in the music industry.
Under the direction of Dr. Brian Simmons, the marching Ocean of Soul took center stage with Beyoncé, helping her perform her recent record-breaking country album Cowboy Carter.
Enjoy the Ho Ho Ho-down all over again.

Beyoncé brought the entire stadium to its feet when she entered on a white horse, wearing an all-white, fur coat with a cowgirl hate while singing 16 Carriages.
After descending from the horse, the superstar was joined on the ground, before entering the stadium to thousands of fans, by fellow black female country performers Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy, Tanner Adell, and Reyna Roberts singing Blackbird.
