A good deed goes wrong as a robbery unfolds in broad daylight in southwest Houston.
The Houston Police Department is seeking help identifying a teen suspect allegedly involved in a purse-snatching incident that occurred on the morning of February 6, outside a convenience store.

What happened?
Police say a woman was pumping gas on the 4900 block of W. Orem Drive around 9:20 a.m., when a young man approached her, asking for a ride to a nearby location. The woman agreed, and the teen got in her vehicle. However, when they reached the 13800 block of W. Orem Drive, the teen thanked her, then grabbed her purse and ran.
Suspect description
The suspect is believed to be in his early to mid-teens. He was last seen wearing a white jacket and khaki pants.
