National Weather Service believes risk of severe weather in Montgomery County ‘increasing’

Experts with the National Weather Service are warning local officials in Montgomery County about the chance of severe thunderstorms in the area Thursday.

Just after 10 a.m., Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough shared on Facebook that he was on a call with an NWS expert, who said that “the risk of severe weather was increasing for Montgomery County today.”

This caution follows reports of strong thunderstorms expected to move through the Houston area Thursday. KPRC 2′s Gage Goulding will be covering the weather throughout the area all day today.
