HOUSTON – A man was arrested after police said he stole a box truck and led officers on a chase in Northeast Houston.
Investigators said it all started on Hirsch Road and Crosstimbers Street in Northeast Houston at about 4 a.m. Sunday.

Police said when officers tried to pull him over, he took off and led them on a chase.
The man eventually crashed at Tidwell Road and Mesa Drive and tried to run away from police.
He was later caught and arrested.
No word yet on his identity or what charges he’ll face.
