Entergy says its crews are working around the clock to restore electricity after the severe storm. The power company says dozens of its poles and transformers were damaged by the high winds and downed vegetation.

Crews hope power restoration will be complete by noon today. Residents, meanwhile, say they’re counting down the minutes.
