HOUSTON – Several tornadoes tore across southeast Texas on Saturday, one of which claimed a woman’s life in Brazoria County.

KPRC 2 continues to track and update you on the 6 confirmed tornadoes that touched down across the Houston area leaving devastating damage as folks work to clean up the aftermath.
1. Katy Tornado: EF-1
Timeline: 10:30 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. with an estimated peak wind of 100 mph
Damage: Multiple homes had roofs, windows, and garage doors damaged as well as several cars and containers flipped over on Noel Lane, FM 529 and Katy Hockley Road, Noel Lane, and FM 529.
2. Porter Heights - Splendora Tornado: EF-3
Timeline: 12:05 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. with an estimated peak wind of 140 mph.
Damage: This was a large tornado with a path of 10.34 miles near FM 1314 and Old Houston Rd. The NWS found EF-3 severe damage near Porter Heights with several other spots with EF-2 level damage.
3. Brazoria County - Hillcrest Tornado: EF-2
Timeline: 12:53 p.m. to 1:12 p.m. with estimated peak wind of 125 mph traveling 8.8 miles towards the Hillcrest area
Damage: EF-0 and EF-1 damage on the tornado track with the most significant damage at Walt Disney Elementary School - with serious damage to the roof structure. One person was killed and 5 other people were injured.
4. Dickinson Tornado: EF-1
Timeline: 1:39 p.m. to 1:41 p.m. with estimated peak wind of 90 mph
Damage: Roof and fence damage in a neighborhood just east of Dickerson High School.
5. Bacliff- San Leon Tornado: EF-0
Timeline: 1:52 p.m. - 1:53 p.m.
Damage: Bent power poles, flipped trailer, and minor roof damage
6. Chambers County Tornado: EF-3
Timeline: 2:35- 3:10 p.m. with estimated peak winds of 138 mph
Damage: Multiple spots of EF2 damage with snapped wooden power lines and a destroyed mobile home along FM 1941 and TX-124 where two steel transmission lines were blown down.
