A tornado struck Brazoria County on Saturday, causing significant damage to Walt Disney Elementary School.

The tornado, with winds of up to 125 mph, traveled 8.8 miles through the area, leaving serious damage in its wake, particularly to the school’s roof structure. Tragically, one person was killed, and five others were injured during the storm.

In response to the devastation, a community-driven recovery effort is underway. A supply drive has been organized to help support the rebuilding of Walt Disney Elementary and assist those affected.

    • Dec. 31: 8 a.m.- 11 a.m. & 1 a.m.- 4 a.m.
    • Jan. 1: 8 a.m.- 11 a.m.& 1 a.m.- 4 a.m.
    • Jan. 2: 8 a.m.- 12 a.m.
