At 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, the iconic street welcomed visitors once again, but this time with noticeably tighter security and a commitment to keeping everyone safe
Stepping up security
To reassure the community, Police Superintendent Anna Kirkpatrick shared the city’s new safety measures. “You’re going to see a much larger police presence,” she said. “We’re confident in these changes, and we want everyone to feel confident too.”
