The Baytown Police Department is now asking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest in a homicide that took place on December 29, 2024. Police are searching for 17-year-old Leondre Lynn for questioning about the incident.

What happened?
The deadly shooting occurred in an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Shady Hill Drive in Baytown. It happened around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. When officers arrived, they found a 25-year-old man from Baytown suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Teenager wanted for questioning
Police say Lynn, originally from Port Arthur, had been living in Baytown for the past few months. Authorities are trying to piece together the events surrounding the shooting and are urging anyone with information about the incident or Lynn’s whereabouts to come forward.
