It’s unclear how long the man was there but METRO PD said it will be handling the investigation. This death appears to be the first winter-related death this year.

The day before Christmas Eve, a man was found inside a police officer’s patrol car and died. Investigators, at last check, said they believe “he may have been seeking shelter from the weather.”
