Motorcyclist leads deputies on 31.8-mile chase in northwest Harris County

HOUSTON – A $10,000 bond was set for a man accused of evading arrest and leading deputies on a chase for over 30 miles in northwest Harris County, according to Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

Justin Hamlet, 39, has been charged with evading in a motor vehicle.

Deputies said a traffic stop was initiated on a motorcycle on Jan. 3 in the 19600 block of Tomball Parkway. The rider reportedly refused to stop, leading deputies on a 31.8 mile pursuit until coming to a stop.

The rider, identified as Hamlet, was detained and booked into the Harris County Jail where his bond was set.
