His arrest follows months of investigation by Montgomery County Constable Precinct 3′s Internet Crimes Against Children Division.
Authorities began investigating Roy in April 2024 after receiving a cyber tip about videos showing young girls recorded in public areas, including The Woodlands Mall, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, and local parks. Some footage allegedly included young girls undressing in a Forever 21 dressing room.
Detectives identified Roy as the perpetrator after spotting his face and security uniform in the recordings.
During a search of his home, more incriminating videos were discovered. Additionally, Roy’s wife, Tasha, admitted to assisting in creating the recordings. Both of them were charged in April 2024 with invasive visual recording, a felony offense.
Following further investigation, authorities filed an additional charge of indecency with a child by exposure against Roy in December 2024. The new allegations prompted Roy to surrender himself to law enforcement on January 4.
Roy, who worked as a tennis coach for children aged 8 to 17 in The Woodlands and Spring areas, is being held on a $30,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for January 8.
Authorities are urging anyone who believes Roy may have recorded them or their children to contact the Montgomery County Constable Precinct 3 office at 281-364-4211, referencing case #24E015260.
