HOUSTON – Two babies were found lying on a sidewalk during Tuesday’s winter storm with their mother, who was reportedly intoxicated, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
HCSO received a 911 call reporting that a woman and her two babies were lying on a sidewalk at 12062 Veterans Memorial Dr.

Deputies responded and determined the babies were 1 year old and 2 months old. EMS arrived and quickly treated the two babies, who were suffering from cold-related injuries.
The mother reportedly showed signs of intoxication.
