HOUSTON – Authorities are looking into a deadly shooting in southeast Houston Sunday night, where one man died and another was hospitalized.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. when Houston police said they were called to a shooting near a taco truck on Telephone Road off Bellfort Avenue near Hobby Airport.
Although it’s unclear where the original shooting took place, a witness called 911 and officers found a car in the middle of the shopping complex, with two men shot inside. Lt. Horelica with HPD could not identify the men inside but said the passenger died from several gunshot wounds, while the driver was rushed to a nearby trauma center.
At the time of this writing, Lt. Horelica said police do not have much information to go by, so it’s unclear how everything unfolded, but an investigation is underway.
